Hörmann sliding gates are constructed from stable steel profiles, ensuring a strong, durable build. The sliding gates are delivered as a complete package, with an opening width of up to 16 metres; a 2-element variation is also available, which will allow you to create an opening width of 32 metres. This will be wide enough to accommodate the largest vehicles and goods, creating an effective and streamlined transportation route into and out of your company premises.
The construction itself is self-supporting, meaning very little foundation work is required. No guide rail is used, eliminating the risk of malfunctions caused by ice, snow, or heavy soiling.
The gates will be pre-tensioned, which allows the height of the front edge to be retroactively corrected so that the gate leaf is always precisely positioned in the entrance. This means that the gate is always optimally aligned, allowing for smooth, effective operation each time the gate is used.
A soft-start function is integrated as standard in all door variants for impulse control with soft door start-up – this protects the door and operator components.
