Hörmann UK have announced that from 1^st April 2024 their popular RollMatic T roller garage door will be available with their innovative DuraBelt system. The RollMatic T has been designed to be quick and easy to fit, and the addition of DuraBelt now offers the market a roller door with enhanced performance at a very attractive price point.

The DuraBelt system provides cushioning as the door curtain rolls up. Located within the door barrel and using technology originally developed for the Automotive market, it consists of a tape-like material which sits between the inner and outer face of the curtain and helps to reduce the risk of marking or scratching due to grit or other foreign objects. The reduction of lath-on-lath contact also results in a noticeable reduction of noise as the door opens and closes when compared to other roller doors on the market.

Engineered to be quick and easy to fit, RollMatic T features a 77mm lath and is available with either internal or external roller options. To speed installation, the door is supplied in two sturdy and easily transportable boxes containing all the components needed to install and operate the door, with pre-assembled and pre-drilled components reducing preparation time onsite.

RollMatic T is supplied with a wired, opto-sensor in the bottom seal which comes as standard, stopping the door if there is an unexpected obstacle and operates to DIN EN 13241. Alternatively, a wireless version is available as an upgrade. A space saving tubular operator and two hand transmitters operating on the Hörmann BiSecur radio system are supplied as standard.
